Ordinary people do not require in-depth reviews. A maximum of six pages is usually sufficient. Some group legal plans have online services where members upload the paperwork for analysis. Countrywide Pre-Paid Legal Services does not do this. We feel there is more to providing high-quality service.
Do You Know That Person?
A group legal plan with online document review will have an attorney look at the papers. The attorney reviews the text and gives an analysis. A plan member has a professional look at the legal documents, but the attorney is a stranger. Other professionals perform future reviews and consequently, no relationship is created.
Countrywide is not content to only look at the paper. Our pre-paid legal services are intended to be more personal and allow for rapport building. It is the reason why we have a network of attorneys who assist plan members.
Our lawyers are in each community where there is a Countrywide client. Our group legal plan members have priority access and arranging a meeting that respects social distancing is easy.
The Personal Touch Matters in Document Review
The process of document review is relatively standard. The Countrywide lawyer reviews document of up to six pages and tells the plan member what the content means. Our attorneys will go a step further.
We enable our lawyers to answer questions, even if they are asked after the meeting. If additional information is required, the Countrywide lawyer can make telephone calls and write letters on legal stationery for the group legal plan member. It is part of the pre-paid legal services package we offer.
We want to remind people there can be danger in the paragraphs and that important documents should not be signed before a legal professional has reviewed it. We encourage our legal plan members to have an attorney review the language. Many times, flaws in the contract are pointed out and these can be renegotiated before signing. If there is a case where the papers are not valid in the plan member’s state of residence, the lawyer is quick to point that out.
Countrywide stresses rapport building. We ask our attorneys to show high emotional intelligence levels in dealing with all our plan members. We want people to be comfortable dealing with one of our legal experts, creating a relationship built on trust and expert advice.
Our attorneys listen to plan members. Countrywide lawyers know that most people do not understand legalese. Clients can be assured that their employees will not be patronized or talked down to by one of our attorneys. Everything is explained carefully and courtesy is all part of the benefits.
The Client’s Decision-Makers Are Involved
Countrywide group legal plan benefits are intended to serve a client and its workforce. We understand that organizations have diverse employee populations, and that the client knows best what its employees need.
Our pre-paid legal services are meant to help ordinary people deal with legal situations. We explain each one of our options to a prospective client and answer all questions. The client then selects those options that will be part of the plan document. Countrywide provides member services and the administration.
